Today is Part II of Chic Vintage Bride‘s posts on the beautiful colours picked by Pantone for their Spring 2013 Fashion Colour Report. Last time we had the bright, bold and beautiful colours, this week its the turn of the soft, pastel, pretty colours.
Starting with the radiant Emerald green, which with its faint hint of blue is more flattering than forest green; and with its depth would equally compliment an Autumn or Winter bride. How gorgeous would your bridesmaids look in dresses of shades of emerald?….
Oh and whilst slightly more green than Emerald I adore this sequin dress from French Connection on ASOS….dressed in this your bridesmaids would sparkle just like an Emerald!
Dusk Blue would be my pick, it is the prettiest colour and perfect for combining with blush (as I did for Chic Vintage Bride’s Spring Inspiration Board) for a romantic wedding, or bright and bold red for a more retro feel…..
Greyed Jade is a subtle pastel colour with warmth; a muted, hushed green with a grey undertone, it is serene and sophisticated (and I can so see it paired with coral)…..
Pantone chose another jewel colour with their amethyst infused Violet; it is a super pretty statement colour which would be just perfect for a garden wedding……oh and wait until you see the dresses I found, they are my favourite of the whole post!
And I couldn’t resist this divine creation from Jenny Packham – it made me think of the glam bridesmaids from this Sydney Wedding by Lara Hotz…..
Last but not least the lovely, light and airy Linen (ivory with a hint of blush) which would so compliment a bride choosing to wear a coloured gown…..
Have any of the colours in Part II tempted you? Or did you prefer the bright, bold and beautiful Lemon Zest yellow, Tendershoots Green, Monaco Blue, Nectarine and Poppy Red?
